BOILER INSTALLATION
There are many different types of boiler and system types and that's why we make sure to discuss every detail with you before beginning so you know exactly what to expect, and exactly how much it’s going to cost.
Each quote starts with a site survey. When we visit, there are many things we need to consider for e.g. the size of the house, how many radiators there are on the existing system, hot water demand for the whole household and so on.
By doing this it allows us to create a personalised and energy efficient quote resulting in savings in your pocket and a system that meets all your heating and hot water needs.
BOILER SERVICING
To minimize the risk of boiler breakdown and ensure optimal energy efficiency it is essential you have your boiler serviced annually.
Your home or landlord insurance will only cover a boiler breakdown if your boiler is serviced every 12 months.
A regular boiler service will safeguard you and your family (or your tenants if you’re a landlord) against carbon monoxide.
We service standard boiler systems and combi boilers. Customer safety is paramount we will always ensure your boiler is safe to use.
We will turn up at your home at the agreed time and show you our Gas Safe Register ID card before we start work.
All boilers are serviced using the correct instructions supplied by the manufacturer.
POWER FLUSHING
The process of power flushing is quick and simple, it can usually be carried out in as little as a day on most residential properties. However, larger systems and commercial premises may take longer to power flush.
Upon arrival we will survey your central heating system and select the best place to connect the power flush equipment. After connecting the Kamco power flush machine to your system, a solution of water, chemicals and rust inhibitors are introduced to the system. This solution loosens the black iron oxide sludge and lime scale and pushes it through the system. As the solution passes through the system a special MagnaClean magnetic filter captures the iron oxide and lime scale, removing it from the system and allowing only liquid to pass back into the central heating system. Once all iron oxide sludge and lime scale has been removed from the system the power flush is complete, allowing water to once again freely circulate around the central heating system. The chemicals and inhibitors are left in the heating system to help protect your system from future build ups. A MagnaClean filter and lime scale inhibitor can also be installed after the power flush to help provide even better protection from further build up.
